04Tips before you pay

  • Ask for a written treatment plan with a price per tooth and what it includes.
  • Ask whether the examination is offset against the treatment. Many practices do this.
  • For an implant ask for the brand, the warranty and whether the crown is included in the price.
  • A cleaning every 6–12 months is the cheapest “insurance” for your teeth.
  • Check whether your private insurance or your work fund covers part of the dental expense.
